For the first Newsie of Women’s History Month, I wanted to highlight a fan that reached out to tell me how much they love to see all the hard work I’m doing in the industry. DIAGEO, the parent brand of Don Julio, just announced its latest addition to their “Por Amor” campaign : an immersive brand experience on the Apple Vision Pro headset in partnership with Trigger XR. This project marks their first move into mixed-reality technology, promising consumers a virtual experience in Mexico, where the iconic tequila brand was born. 🇲🇽 Scheduled for release this spring, the app invites users to delve into the intricate process behind Don Julio's creation, from the agave fields to the final aging stages. (Who remembers AgaveZoe?) Through spatial computing, participants will explore four key chapters of tequila production, promising an educational and visually stimulating experience. 🪴

While the Vision Pro has massed considerable excitement since its launch, with initial sales figures painting a promising picture, the long-term sustainability of virtual reality technologies remains uncertain.
